Dad was a pastor before he quit to save our family the scrutiny, I’ve believed in God & gone to church most of my life, though I struggle with the way people in churches treat each other.  Grew up in CA high desert 1/2way betwen Vegas & LA.  College at Pepperdine in Malibu.  Studied semester in Heidelberg, Germany, semester in Florence, Italy.  Taught HS in Claremont (So. CA 90% white college town, LA area) 2 years, now teach in Norwalk for 2 years, (So. CA low-income, 90% hispanic area, LA area).  I like to teach where I’m needed & thanked, so I thank God for pushing me here.
