Old as dirt according to my kids..  flower child of the 60’s -70’s minus most of the drugs the
vast majority used.. I like knowing what’s going on and having control of the situation - floating in the ozone of colors was not my thing.  Born/raised in Chicago to immigrant scandanavian parents.. who always thought i was the embarassment of the family for being outspoken, independent and not wanting to be a typical urban lemming doing Daley’s bidding.

Went to college off and on parttime as I could afford it since I was on my own at 18.. lots of experience in lots of fields.. married 28 years to the same crab I dated in my mid 20’s.. one kid married other lives with her fiance’... my current kids are my dogs.. my pitbulls who I fight endlessly for in the world of dog breed discrimination and misinformaiton.

Been a political activist most of my adult life… worked in local politics the past 14 years at one level or another trying to get someone around here to wake up and smell the coffee.. but its really a losing battle in this state and this close to the City of Corruption.. Chicago ..who rules the whole state under Herr Daley #2.  Self employed with husband - we have a small manufacturing company in the inner city of Chicago which sucks the life out of us 365 days a year..  currently planning for our escape to sanity in the boundary waters of upper MN where we have a little house on a big lake.. 

Don’t have much free time presently - ask me in 5 months once we make the move
and my employees are forced to work and run the company without us playing adult babysitters and both our parents and siblings must learn to live as adults on their own without us as the ‘go to make it better’ people.. OH I am so looking forward to this !!!! 

A true independent politically.. both sides make me want to puke with their elitest ideals of grandure, mostly of themselves.  I detest one side as much as the other and find it impossible to keep voting the “lesser of evils”.. last time around was it !!  My husband and friends say I’m an extremely loyal and loving person to all of them.. glad someone feels no need to get in my face today… I obviously have a very sarcastic and often sardonic sense of humor.  I enjoy the company of others that are free thinkers, independent and dont feel the need to run with the status quo or live for the acceptance of others.  I don’t do well in this current prescription drugged yuppie lemming mentality culture that is growing by the hour and the day. 

What ever happened to the men and women of this country that worked hard, had strong determination, ethics and morals that led this country to some of its greatest moments through out history.. have they and their sacrifices and accompliments been lost forever to this Gangstra/Hollywood mentaility that seem to be everywhere from households to Washigton DC ?  I’m very happy without breast implants and being a Pamela Lee or Brittney Spears look alike.. I’m not embarassed to say I’m 50, my breasts are my own, I’ve never had plastic surgery or an eating disorder and have no clue what the current 104 sexual transmitted diseases are ...  I have a mind and I use it all the time and don’t ask anyone to do anything for me and can go through life without a prescription pill to cure anything that bothers me real or imagined.  I have no need or want for a Lexus, a Gucci whatever, Madonna’s autograph or a rolex watch to impress friends, family and neighbors.. most of the time their insane whinning and oneupsmanship get under my skin and I prefer they would stay in their corner and leave me to mine.. 

That’s about it for now I need to get back to work… we’ll see how this changes when I have my life back to enjoy, pursue and relax a little a few months from now..
