It’s a bit of a non-sequitur. It would make more sense if there was a panel showing the cat trying to catch a dot from a laser pointer, and then a timeskip. The best I had come up with was that the cat had signalled a sniper.

I have read the stupid statement that you should experience everything once often. Having had my wife die next to me I refuse to even knock the teeth out of the writers as I know people who have lost their children. The shot individual is a minor idiot.
