As if the return of dedicated servers and mods on the PC version wasn’t enough to be excited about, it looks like the folks at Treyarch are really trying to bring a little innovation to the next CoD title. Yesterday they unveiled a new multiplayer mode called a “Wager Match” that puts some interesting twists on the usual free-for-all game mode.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the FFA mode preferring to play on a team, but these variations on it do sound like they could be a lot of fun. Even if they don’t win me over to FFA gameplay it’s still great to see Treyarch trying to bring something new to the fans.
