According to the Society of Homeopaths, homeopathy has been available through the NHS since its creation in 1948. You’d think that 62 years would be more than enough time to establish that it actually does something, but so far there’s not much in the way of evidence to suggest that it does.

Can we substitute “Christianity”, or any other religion, for “homeopathy” and “it” in the above quote?

As someone who regularly uses the NHS, and is dating an NHS employee, I can say that homoeopathic remedies have been very rarely used in the past anyway. Of course, the fact that they’re being binned altogether is good news.
