A bit off the topic, but…I miss the nutty Quizno’s commercials from a few years ago. Like the “were you raised by wolves?” spot, with Jim Parsons (Big Bang Theory) shown suckling a wolf.

I have never wanted a sandwich more in my life! 

I actually like BK food. Probably too much, Burger King cheeseburgers are my not-so-secret weakness, up there with Whataburgers with jalapeños.

I will say that I do find the ad in poor taste

Well that’s in keeping with their food…

I saw this yesterday on a feminist blog and they got into the nitty gritty about sex, advertising, and objectifying women.  Don’t worry…I won’t get into that here.

I will say that I do find the ad in poor taste (no pun intended) and wonder what advertising agency’s are thinking when they come up with this stuff…and what the companies are thinking when they allow it.  Maybe it is because I am female, but I really don’t get this kind of advertising.  Though I did find it mildly amusing when I saw it the first time.

I am seriously questioning BK’s advertising department as well since it wasn’t long ago they did a Spongebob commercial meant to sell parents on the idea of a kids meal…but the song was “Baby Got Back” and was talking about how The King likes square butts…and having a lot of scantily clad women with what looked like phone books shoved in their pants.  They said that it only aired at night on stations like Adult Swim…but it was often seen (by my own eyes) during the day on Nickelodeon.
