  • It hasn’t been THAT cold here but it has been below 20.  DH says he wishes he could stay in bed as well.  LOL

Its a Balmy 48F here! Can you say CHINOOK!. It supposed to be 55F here tomorrow.  After the coldest December in recent memory it is welcome.  We had 4 weeks of temps near or below 5F as daytime highs.
The rest of the continent has my sympathy.

  • It’s been -20F the past two mornings (actual temp, not wind chill). They forecast a warmup into the 20s above this weekend, and maybe 30s on MLK day. Shorts weather on the way!

Mighty cold on my first day back to school since 1988.  I am going to Oakland Community College, just a hop skip and a jump from the Ann Arbor area, so I feel your pain.  ‘Bout time I resumed my education.

It sounds like you have quite the busy schedule with school, work and the blog.  Not sure how you do it but keep it up!

Horror, I started at Oakland Community College back in ‘85. Mostly the Auburn Hills Campus, but had a few classes in Royal Oak in the mid-90’s when I tried to go back the first time around.

It’s cold enough out that I’m thinking of having fun with some insta-freezing hot water tonight.

  • Wow… I’m only dealing with 10 below in Wisconsin.  Of course once it gets below zero, there’s really no point in using numbers to describe the temperature anymore….. just invectives smile

For the most part I know it’s time to turn the heating on when my toes start turning blue.
