To be fair, I think his problem is with what is being taught; I do not think he is saying that mass education itself is the problem.

Either way, I disagree with his statement, I think most Catholics would. Catholicism is not an opponent of education, there are Catholic schools in many countries around the globe that attract Catholics and non-Catholics alike. You cannot take one person’s opinion and assume that everyone in the Catholic Church feels that way. I am sure that if you looked for them you might find some small number of Atheists who, for whatever reason, might make similar sounding statements about education; if you did, that would not mean that all Atheists feel that way.

So? does this mean that William Michael is in contradiction with his own church?

I mean, he (apparently) supplements his organic farming dollars with dangerous and troublesome “education”.

How could I have been so wrong.  There must be a catholic church close by I can give my money to!  I am sure that will bring immediate consolation.
