I realize that the G-word was common parlance among troops during the Vietnam conflict, but its use 40 years later is clearly unacceptable.  I found it interesting that Mr. Waffle quickly spun those remarks to be applied only to his Vietnamese captors.  Sorry, no putting that ugly genie back into the bottle.

Wow. Considering that he knew that he could be seen talking like that to his wife, i wonder what he’s like when they’re on their own!
Anyway, i think it’s a clear indication of his self control, or lack of it. Quite frankly, if anyone like that were ever to get to a position of power, the rest of the world, including myself, would be shitting themselves. then again, perhaps someone so rash could be easily manipulated? nonetheless, not a good authority figure.

I was invited to go and fuck myself today, by a prisoner on the comments page of his transfer dossier.  Given a) he is on a indeterminate sentence, so has to convince the parole board to let him out once the tariff is over, and b) That dossier, with his comments goes to his probation officer, who makes recommendations about whether he is less likely to offend, we are thinking possibly he may need to redo the ‘thinking skills’ course.

I got no problem with him swearing at all.

I DO have a problem with him portraying himself as a nice guy who has this laid back attitude towards the press (like any good brown-noser) and then goes off on his wife like that because “he had a bad day”  a Bad Day??
