  Now we’re expected to believe that the same government that was able to commit the largest terrorist operation in history—with military precision no less—is suddenly too incompetent to sniff out and shut down a little website set up by some college losers within days, if not minutes of its creation? The US government has the capability to monitor every electronic communication made anywhere in the world, yet we’re expected to believe that they wouldn’t be able to nix this kid long before his video ever became popular?

  I love how conspiracy theorists give our government enough credit to be able to pull off something like 9/11 without leaving any conclusive evidence and silencing all involved parties, yet don’t think that they could take out select members of the Tin Foil Hat Brigade

  Wouldn’t matter whether they took out members of the TFHB or not. Clearly, nobody believes them anyway (largely because their own arguments are inconclusive or drawn from falsehoods).

  Doesn’t strictly make them wrong; it means we’ve got scraps to go on even if they’re right, and nobody really cares to try one way or the other.
