Cool Video: The 1K Project II

One of the cooler things about video games on PCs is the way so many people find to have fun with them that the designers of the game never imagined. For example the following video was created using a PC racing game called Trackmania and it features 1,000 cars navigating a custom track full of jumps and alternate routes. Car-to-car clipping has been turned off (cars won’t register impacts with other cars) but the rest of the environment still works the way it should. It makes for a wicked-cool pseudo-synchronization effect.

I’m so glad my rush hour isn’t as bad as that.
