IS THERE LIFE AFTER DEATH

[Editor’s Note: I’m posting this on the basis of it being an excellent bad example of the the sort of post you might want to think twice about before submitting to SEB and also as a reminder of the importance in taking your medication every day when the nice men in the white lab coats give it to you. As an example of someone who is overly credulous it is beyond compare. I sincerely hope the author was trying to be satirical, but somehow I fear that this was written in all sincerity. A frightening thought indeed.]

I know there are people in this world who do not believe in the paranormal.  I personally always had a interest in it . I had a experience with this and it has totally changed my life.  Guess what it was for the good.  It has made me so much closer to god.  I have spirits with me all the time.  There in my home there everywhere I go.
Sometimes I see them, hear, feel there prescence, smells.  They are here.  I have over 50 pictures to prove it.  I was told I had some physcic abilities and that I just didn’t know how to use them.  This is some of them.  I just recently found out I could communicate with them through what is called channel writing.  I never thought anything like this would happen to me but it has.
I have been writing poems on the paranormal ever since this has happened and most of them have been published.  I have never
been able to write poetry before in my life.  I believe this has been for a reason.  There are more spirits in this world than there are people.  So there is life after death and we can communicate with them.    I just want to say GOD BLESS THEM ALL!  This has been going on now for about 2 years.

Sorry but, if you dont’ believe in God then where will you go when you die?

I’m agnostic. I could care less where I go when I die, however I personally lean toward believing that there is some form of reincarnation after we die, however I can’t possibly confirm this and will not force this belief upon you, for what sounds logical to me will sound insane to you.

Or what will you do when you come face to face with God.

I doubt I will have to come face to face with him, sense it is doubtful that he exists, however if I ever do come face to face with him, I will probably give him the one fingered salute, for various reasons.

What will you tell him your reasons for not believing in him.

Every possible sign pointed toward him not existing in life, and his bible was full of shit.

What do you believe in anyway?

I am agnostic. Look it up.

We all have a purpose in life what is yours if you don’t believe in God?

Well, that is subjective. My purpose biologically is probably to reproduce and help spread humanity. But that is the beauty of being human, you can decide what your pupose will be.

This is really a sad situation.

For you, maybe, because from what I’ve seen God is indestinguishable from Lucifer.

I feel for you.  It just goes to show you don’t know anything about God.
I would like to know where will you go when you die.  It want be heaven if you don’t believe in God.
Maybe it will be the spirit world.
If you have faith then tell me who do you have faith in if it’s not God?
You have to have faith in someone.

  • if you dont’ believe in God then where will you go when you die?

Same place the believers do. It’ll be as much of a bother not to exist the second time as it was the first time around.

I don’t think you have read a single one of my comments, I don’t remember there being any verses in the bible saying that its a virtue to be ignorant.

we are all going to be worm food, everyone, even thoughs that believe there is a god, this does not change facts

we all have a purpose, what is yours if you don’t believe in god?

an imaginary diety is not needed to give me purpose in life. my purpose is to help others when i can, and live life for my short time here, i do not waste my precious short existence worshiping some non-existent entity.

what will you do if you come face to face with god

well, that won’t happen, but hypothetically, if it did, i believe i should be judged by my actions in life, not whether or not i believed god existed. if god judges us solely on whether we believed in him or not, then i want nothing to do with a god like that anyway.

this is really a sad situation

i could say the same about religion, i never felt so lost and bitter then when i sort of believed what you do. my life has much more meaning now.

In a wooden box in the ground or a nice urn on the mantle.

Or what will you do when you come face to face with God.

Say “I’ll have fries with that.”

What will you tell him your reasons for not believing in him.

“The Flying Spaghetti Monster is The One True Supreme Being, now where’s those fries?”

What do you believe in anyway?

As above, and my purpose is to stir the pot.

This is really a sad situation.

Don’t worry, the FSM loves you.

rose: Sorry but, if you dont’ believe in God then where will you go when you die?

There is no need to be sorry.

I would like to be made into a pair of table lamps.  I have a couple of large colorful tattoos that would make a nice pair of lampshades.  My lower legs and feet would make good lamp bases.  Other parts would make good finials and switch chain pulls.

Or what will you do when you come face to face with God.
What will you tell him your reasons for not believing in him.

    He’s your god, not mine.

What do you believe in anyway?

Many atheists believe many different things.  The main thing is that atheists don’t believe in gods.

We all have a purpose in life what is yours if you don’t believe in God?

In general, I see that my purpose in life is to enjoy the life that I have and to help others to also enjoy their lives.  Rose, what is your purpose in life?

This is really a sad situation.

    That is your opinion.

Let’s not stop.  You got me on a roll.
    Take it as you like.
    Have a great day!

Seeing as Rose the Village Idiot can’t seem to offer up much more than nonsense and gibberish for replies, I’m going to shut this thread down.

  • fannie mae

I hope that God doesn’t make your wife pay for your disrespect to HIM and his children. I don’t know, but I just have this feeling that some time this month, you will lose someone you love Les . I am going to pray that some time this month, God will reveal HIMSELF to you in a way that you will not be able to deny HIS existence. You will feel a stabbing pain in your heart , like a needle going in. That way you will know it’s HIM.

  • Your Mighty Overload

    Fannie Mae,

If the Christian god is as all powerful as you Christians tell us, then two things 1) he doesn’t need you to go around being a dick and threatening people, 2) he already knows exactly what evidence it would take to convince Les or me, yet he chooses not to supply it. He knows we won’t believe without that evidence too – after all, your mythology tells us that he made us and knows us perfectly. Oh, and as for all the “God is punishing those around you for your sins” crap, well it fits right in with your dick-god’s modus operandi, doesn’t it? You guys have no problem with substitutional atonement, apparently. Someone murders your son/daughter/wife/mother? well, it doesn’t matter who gets punished right? As long as someone does! That’s how your god operates. Hey, here’s an idea, next time someone murders someone else, you should step forward and be truly Christ-like. You should go to prison in the murder’s place. There you go, you can be the martyr you’ve always wanted to be, Right, enough of this tom-foolery.

  • Les, that’s what you get for not closing this thread again following the migration: Christian “love”.

  • Les

Yeah, I should probably go through and close a lot of old threads.

  • Rachelle

First of all we are all not going around threatening and being dicks about anything. People need to realize that religion and God are two different things. Religion is ruled by men, while the bible, and those who choose to read it and not be told what to do by a man and instead listen to what the bible has to say is different. If God was to come down and walk with us, why would there be a need for faith? you would not argue with me that there is wind, but u know it exists, because you can feel it. Same with God, but you need to give it a chance. God is a king, and a king wants loyal knights, not little babys that are spoon fed and told exatly what to do or beleive. We are all different, which is why the bible is so diverse, and if an individual reads the bible it will speek to them personally, screw churched and religion, thats not what saves you, its yur personal relationship with God himself, through Jesus christ. And about the God punishing crap, listen, God doesnt allow and make anything happen, WE DO!! take responsability for what we do and the consequences that follow OUR OWN ACTIONS. stop blaming God for our own fuck -ups. we are sinful, therefore God sent Jesus to give us the opportunity to except and have a direct path to God, obtain forgiveness of sins, thus we will go to heaven THE END!! enough already

  • Your Mighty Overload

    Rachelle

Christians aren’t being threatening dicks? Did you read what Fannie Mae actually wrote? Can’t you comprehend that saying to someone that your sky-fairy is going to kill them and their wives is threatening behavior? I’m sure you and Fannie (an apt moniker) believe in intercessory prayer? You may not be one of the nut-jobs who wants the president of America dead, but I bet you pray for all sorts of things. Of course, you may not believe it is effective, but if you do, you are actively inciting violence. Shame for you that the entity to which you attempting to coax into killing Les and his wife does not, in all likelihood, exist.

I agree with you that religion is largely the construct of men. However, I would also say that the bible is also a construct of men. Bronze age goat herders initially, but later some new stories were added – written long (30-100 years) after the events which they described, by anonymous authors. Later still, these accounts were normalized by perhaps the worst possible way to find truth – a vote. Look up “Council of Nicaea” if you don’t believe me.

So, no Rachelle, I think everything you spouted there is pure sewerage. Don’t let the virtual door hit your virtual ass on your vitual way out.

  • enough already

Funny she put this at the end of that screed.
