Make your own Bottle Cap Tripod.

I’ve wanted a tripod for my digital camera for awhile now as it would make it easier to use the automatic timer function so I can get into the shot myself, but aside from costing money they’re also a pain in the ass to tote around. Some folks over in Japan have come up with a solution in the form of a Bottle Cap Tripod that you can use on any bottle of pop or water. This is pretty nifty, but will still set you back $9.99 to get one.

So that’s when Adam over at Fiendish Thingy decided he’d come up with a Homemade Bottle Cap Tripod that’ll cost you a mere $1.50 in parts plus the cost of a bottle of pop or water.

Update: Another DIY Bottle Cap TriMonopod for your consideration.
