Over the river and through the woods…

…to Momma’s house we go for the first half of our annual Christmas celebration. Christmas Eve day is spent with my folks up in Otisville exchanging gifts and eating too much food. The adults draw names for our exchange to help keep expenses down while my daughter and her two cousins can expect to get gifts from everyone in attendance.

We’re bringing the Honeybaked ham this year and Cindy, as usual, was working on deviled eggs. I say was as she had a little accident while doing so and thus this Christmas will be devoid of deviled eggs. Oh well, if nothing else that’ll help keep my cholesterol down. My brother and his wife usually bring something along as well, but it’s always something different so that’ll be a surprise. All in all it should be an enjoyable day and a chance for my folks to have me fix the four or five technology related issues they’ve been having trouble with since my last visit.
