when was the last time you saw a Christian publicly behead someone

Christians don’t behead people any more, they shoot people instead: 

In 1993, Michael Griffin, killed Dr. David Gunn for performing abortions.

In 1994, Paul Hill, killed a physician and bodyguard outside an abortion clinic; he wounded the wife of the bodyguard.

In 1998, James Kopp killed Dr Barnett Slepian for performing abortions.

You could include the shooting and gassing of Jews and homosexuals by Adolf Hitler in the 1940’s—that was a big one; although it could be argued that the person who ordered the killing may not have been a christian.

You could also include the current killing in Iraq.  George W claims to be a “born again christian” and his election was helped by several christian churches.  The christian religious right has taken over the republican party and the republicans in power are supporting the killing.

Someone ask, “when was the last time you saw a Christian publicly behead someone,” the answer is not since the Middle Ages.  I did however see a Christian throw a firebomb into a family-planning clinic.

Both religions are full of shit and given the chance metastisize into theocratic tyrannies.  The difference is that we hadn’t, until lately, given our particular brand of crazy the chance.

People today have become selfish. They have become too absorbed in their own lives to care about
the lives of their children or grandchildren. Don’t you realize that the slow loss of our freedoms means that our grandchildren will never know the freedoms you have enjoyed. And all because you have allowed your government to use the terrorism threat as an excuse to slowly remove your freedoms.

If you were truly patriotic then you would be fighting against the slow dismanteling of our Bill of Rights. How many letters have you written to your Congressmen and Senators? Do you really believe that your freedoms can be bought?

If you think back you will remember that this Presidents father spoke of a “New world Order”.
As you watch our jobs being “outsourced to Mexiso and China did you ever think of speaking up? As you watch global warming increase while our Government does nothing where have you been? Do you really believe that you will do better with Social Security ptrivatization? Come on people wipe the sleep out of your eyes and do something.

Not worried about our gov’t and excessive security measures. I am worried about terrorists.

My worries are the complete reverse.  I don’t fear another terrorist attack at all, but I’m quite concerned about this Administration’s attack on the Constitution, and even more so about the number of Americans who believe the only way to be “safe” is to give up our rights.

We should fear our homegrown American religious extremists even more than we do those of the Middle East; as far as I know, there are no Muslim extremists in our government.  But there’s certainly no shortage of Christian extremists.  Having to live in a society governed according to the Bible would be just as bad as living in one governed according to the Koran.

Speaking from a perspectibve not biased by media and ingnorance – neither Muslim or Christians are inherently hateful – the poison lies in the hearts of the leaders and the hearts of the institutions that deliver the news – Terrorists arent ‘real muslims’ – just like Bush voting Evangalists arent ‘real christians’. How can a Christian marry his faith with an invasion (sorry LIBERATION) that kills so many innocent people, its a commandment for Gods sake (THOU SHALL NOT KILL). – Jesus and Mohamad both would be very ashamed, if not darn right angry.

Are Fundamentalist Christians and Evangelical Christians planing to insert their beliefs into our government?  THE ANSWER IS YES!!!  The so called Conservative, for example Rush and David Limbaugh, George W. Bush, John Ashcroft, Bill Frist, Tom DeLay, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Roy Moore, Ann Coulter, and tens of thousands religious fanatics, are the American Taliban who would replace the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA with the Decalogue (Ten Commandments). As for having the most freedom of any nation in the entire world, well, there are many that would disagree with you. I believe the U.S. ranked 13th on the international list of countries with the most freedom according to one study. That means there are 12 other countries that could be considered to be more free than the U.S., but you just keep spewing your patriotic rhetoric like a good little monkey.
