The Anti-Oscar

So, am I the only person not talking about the Oscars in his blog this morning? Yet I suppose by talking about how I’m not talking about them I am, in effect, talking about them. The point being that I didn’t watch the Oscars, don’t care who won, and wish the newspapers would hurry up and get back to talking about things that actually matter. My Oscar-cynicism probably springs from the fact that I almost never agree with what movie won what category and a good portion of the winners are from movies I haven’t the slightest interests in seeing. I honestly find more I can relate to in the Golden Globes than the Oscars, plus I like the fact that the words “Golden Globes” can be used as a sexual euphemism for a nice set of boobies.
